I have used the Kdon Golf Club groove Sharpener and the old clubs I have and a mix of wedges and irons,wedge were in need of being replaced.I brought the Kdon groove sharpener and simply followed the easy directions I hand sharp ,clean grooves and played a round with some friends and they first laughedwhen I spun the ball back after going about 8 ft left of the pin,you see I am not that good ,only been playing about 4 yrs, but when I did spun the ball using my pitching wedge on 3 more holes and birdie 2 of the hole they asked what I did to the clubs ,I said I had them sharpened and they thought I spent about $15 dollars a club ,I showed them the Kdon Golf Club groove sharpener that I had in my pocket, and told the it was under $10 and I did it myself they thought I was kidding.They said yeah it helped my short game,especialluy on the par 3's .
So the buddies want to borrow mine , I told them to buy there own and the next week we played all 3 of them had got the Kdon Groove sharpener.
For amature recreational golfer like me, I enjoy the game even more now that can save stroke and spin the ball withthese old clubs when I breakdown and buy a newor used set I will use my tool when the groovs get beat up or dulled.
Great item I heard they also have a companion Groove Brush,have not seen it yet though.
