I purchased the AVT club set for my 11 year old son. He has been playing golf for 6 years. He experienced a growth spurt last year and the junior clubs were to small and the adult clubs were to big. I purchased the set as a Christmas gift and weather has prevented us from going to the range or playing a round. The weather broke last week and the clubs are a good fit for his size. He is 5'2" and the length of the clubs are great, I was leery of him gripping the club down on the grip possibly changing his swing but that has not been an issue. He also appreciates having a full set of clubs like the "big boys", which has improved his confidence. The club heads are heavier than I had anticipated but he will adjust because he's older and stronger. If he continues to grow I anticipate 3 good years of use for the clubs. Bag Boy Express Auto Push Cart Review

After I got this delivered, I found out the cart is rolling with a somewhat annoying shake. Then, I investigated what is causing the shake that is enough to spill a drink in a cup holder. The reason is the front WHEEL. The wheel shape is basically not circular but oval. Since I found a notice saying "please do not return to a store, call xxx-xxx-xxxx for service", I called the Bag boy customer service and asked whether the company could exchange the front wheel. The answer is very surprising. Since I bought it from AMAZON (online store), their customer service refused to exchange it for free. Well, although I tried to follow the company's request and also tried to save the company's cost of a return product, the company does not deal with this situation. So, I simply followed the return process from AMAZON (super easy), packed it back and put it in front of my door. Next day UPS picked up and a few days later the refund was on my account. The end of story. This is the way how Bag boy lost money...

Yes, the instructions are bizarre--written in some comically weird dialect only vaguely resembling English.But the thing goes together ok and the finished product is light, sturdy, and does what it's supposed to do.It arrived in 2 days.All the pieces where there and were labeled with numbered sticky dots, and (thanks to the warning by the previous reviewer) I spent a little time checking everything before starting.Hint:print out the two enlarged pictures of the item (front and side views) on the product site to use as guides, because the diagram that the instructions refer to was not in the box.Didn't really matter that much.Just look ahead a step before doing the one you're on.Helped me to avoid turning things around backwards, etc.Sometimes I changed the order of steps, because it seemed that it would make things easier.For example, I did step D before step C:I attached the long tube #4 to the top of the back piece #5 before fixing the ends of the #4 tube to the sides (#1 & 2) and the bottom of the back #5 to the floor piece #3.Whatever, for $40, a little creative, Zen-like instruction reading, and an hour and a half of my time, I've got what I wanted.One star deduction for the instructions.On the other hand, they are good for a laugh, especially if you read them out loud to a friend after you've finished.Go for it!

Bought these clubs for my wife who decided to try out golf for the first time just recently.For the money they're really not that bad, especially when you consider some of my individual clubs cost more than the entire set.She's left handed and I'm right handed so I don't really know how they perform versus name brand gear, but again, for someone who's trying out the game for the first time they're perfectly functional.The only problem was that the head of the 9-iron started to come off after a few swings; all of the other clubs are fine after a fair amount of use so I'm guessing it was just an isolated defect and not a systematic problem with the way the clubs are designed or manufactured (and honestly, I'm not really concerned about longevity that much since if my wife ends up playing a lot I'll buy her a much nicer set).Golf Outlets sent us a replacement club free of charge after e-mailed them a few pictures of the broken club so it really wasn't that big of a deal.

Intech Lancer Junior Golf Club Set Review

We bought the older version of this set for our 8 year old who is just getting into golf. We've only had the clubs for a week, but he's played with them and they appear to be a very nice beginner set. We were also surprised that the bag is a nice quality one that looks like it will hold up and the set comes with covers for the drivers. The only minor complaint is that the clubs are a bit heavy but they're right for the price.

Prosimmon Golf X9 Tall +1" Mens Graphite & Steel Hybrid Club Set + Bag Review

Ok, so first of all, let me first tell you that I don't know much about golf now, and knew even less when I bought this set of clubs.What I did know is that I needed taller clubs since I am 6'5" tall and I knew that I didn't want to spend a lot of money since I was literally just buying these to try it out.Well here is what I can tell you after using these both at the driving range and on various courses in the Houston area for the past 2 months.First of all, the irons and the fairway woods are very strong and durable.The driver, well between my inexperience and the poor quality, that had to be replaced with an upgrade after about a month because the head was badly dented.The putter, not only do I not like the design, weight and shape of it, but it is also very poorly made and after using just two months most of the black paint has chipped away leaving a very ugly metal surface underneath which is starting to pit.The grips on all the clubs are holding up quite well though, however all of the white lettering on them was gone after an hour at the driving range.The bag itself is well designed and honestly quite nice considering the price of the set.Plenty of pockets for your gloves, tees, balls, divot tool, and also has a little sliding hoop that holds onto a towel very well.The bag I received looked nothing like the one pictured, but was still nice, strong, and I have not had any issues with it at all.

All in all I would have to say that these clubs are a good investment if you are just starting out, however if you plan on getting serious in the sport or have friends who are, you will probably be let down with the long term quality and durability of these clubs.The irons are great and perform well.But the rest, well... could use some work.

To sum it up, if you're looking for a set of beginner clubs especially for someone who is not sure they will like golf, this is a solid choice.But if you think you're going to quickly regret going so cheap on the clubs, I would look for something used or new of a better quality.My grandfather always said, "Buy once, and buy right".And that holds true with this purchase.No regrets though, live and learn.

This is a fine disc golf bag.There's enough room in the main compartment for about 16 discs - each in their own little pocket.Makes it easy to keep the discs organized and clean.There are two large zippered end pockets that can hold anything you like.They can hold about 5 or 6 discs each if you really want to load up.Two large bottle holders are great for extended stays on the course.The putter pocket is just right - easy to insert and pull out the disc.The bag will accommodate a quad shock strap which is recommeded since the strap that comes with it is a little undersized and underpadded for such a large bag.The only quibble I have with the bag is the shape of the opening to the main interior.It is rounded on the corners and slightly smaller than the actual area where the discs reside.As a result, it is harder than it should be to insert and remove discs from the ends of the bag.It is very durable and I recommend it.

DGA Gel Strapz Disc Golf Backpack Straps Review

These bag straps are awesome. My husband has a pair and says they are by far the most comfortable bag straps he's ever used (9 years in the sport). I heard that there were some issues with the first batch that were made but that anyone who had any issues with their Gel Strapz received a replacement from the company immediately.

I read the review of the person who had a bad strap but he doesn't mention if he contacted the company or not. My husband has had his for over 6 months and they are holding up great.

Innova Competition Disc Golf Bag Review

I ordered the Orange and khaki. I have had the bag for a couple of weeks now and have played several rounds with it.

Initial thoughts:
- Great color combo
- Very well stitched and good use of fabrics for durability
- 2 Bottle holders!Pros:
- Great storage capacity.I am able to carry 22 discs currently.
- Pockets to carry phone, wallet etc.
- Mini disc and pen holder on the front.
- Has an additional pin holder in one of the side pockets.
- Will hold 2 bottles.I can't say this enough.I go through a lot of water while playing.
- Internal divider. Some available adjustment for the 2 dividers.
- Quick reach putter in the front.Releases well during play.If need be, another putter can fit in the pocket.Cons:
- Not a major fault of the bag, but the single strap with a loaded bag can start to cut into the shoulder during play.Would recommend a set of back pack straps for it.

Overall I am really enjoying the bag.Can not attest to the durability of the bag due to the short time I have owned it.

Ogio Straight Jacket Travel Bag Review

This is a nice travel bag.The wheels moved with ease and was easy to move around the airport.It has decent padding for club heads.I have an average set of clubs and they barly fit with a simple stand bag.This may prove to be a problem if you have long clubs.I used it with a clubglove stiff arm. With that and a couple of towels around the club heads it probably performed as close to a hard case as you can get.I would still like to see more padding especially around the club heads.

Callaway's Hyper X Driver.That's who.This is a great driver at a reasonable price.It may not look or sound as fancy as the Diablo, but it still get's the job done.Large, forgiving club face with a sturdy shaft makes this a winner.Excellent grip and feel.Lightweight, but still beastly.I can get some nice drives with this one.I'm using the left handed 10 degree neutral version with stiff shaft.I feel right at home on the driving range.

I am extremely impressed with the quality of this bag.May not have as many pockets as other bags in this price range, however the craftsmanship is spot on, and the set up is perfect.I compared this bag with a few others in the price range, Ogio, Bagboy, Burton and this one is much nicer, and most importantly lighter.This Izzo straps make the bag very comfortable to carry.The dual axis stand system allows the bag to sit nicely on any surface.Also, this bag can sit straight up and not tip, like a cart bag, and has shock absorbers that stabilize your clubs when riding. Rain Wedge Premier Golf Bag Rain Cover Review

I live in the Seattle, WA area and have been using the Rain Wedge for over a year.I am a walker and usually use a pull cart or three wheel push cart.Any time the weather looks as if it might rain I put the Rain Wedge in my bag between my 3 & 5 woods.It goes on and comes off easily, it opens and closes with one hand. Or in my case, I just use my elbow to snap the cover back to keep my hands dry when getting a club.The flexible stays keep the cover up, above and away from the club heads, so the clubs and grips stay dry.
Unlike an umbrella, it's performance is not affected by windy weather, it stays in place and the front drops down low enough so rain does not get into the bag.
I have the original cover that came with the golf bag but it was a pain to use.The old cover has snaps, straps & a zipper and required two hands to open and close. In addition, the club handles would get wet when I put clubs back after hitting the ball.
I play year round, and in Seattle it is prone to rain a bit from October through June.I like the Rain Wedge and gave it as a gift to one of my golfing partners who also plays in wet weather.I recommend this product.

I bought this set for my wife for Christmas last year. I was hoping that it was just OK as the price is so reasonable. Imagine my surprise when we got it and it is a great set. Nice balance and really an exceptional buy. I can't figure out how they can sell these clubs so reasonably. Buy it you won't be disappointed. My wife is a new golfer and she hit the ball well right from the start. And I think the reason is the clubs are made well. I hit her 3 wood and really got off a good shot. Very impressive - a great buy. A very good starter set.

I ordered the set and got it within a week so shipping wasn't bad.I went to the driving range yesterday and no heads came off like the other set without the driver, the clubs were pretty good.The bag is great with more than enough pockets.Another thing I love was the head covers for the 3 wood and the driver, they're very nice.Overall awesome golf set for the money.One thing I don't like that much is the clubs get dirty very quickly.It gets marks and grass stuck in the grooves often but I would reccomend it to anyone for a first golf set.
